Congratulations Martin Bradbury - Athersley

Well done to Mr Martin Bradbury and his family from Athersley, who were this years lucky winners of the New Year firework hamper. The random draw was made by Miss Katie Appleyard at the end of November. Martin along with his wife and his son were presented with the hamper on Tuesday 27th December and were visibly over the moon. The Fireworkguy commented, "I was thrilled to see the hamper go to such a lovely family of pyro enthusiasts. The Bradbury's have been customers since we opened, 8 years ago and they certainly know good pyro when they see it. Bladon (Martin's son) has been coming since he was a baby and he always knows which fireworks he wants, I certainly don't need to guide him any more!"
Thank you to everyone who entered, and don't forget to add your details into the draw for next years hamper.
The Underground Bunker - Now even better!

The Underground Bunkers showroom is stocked and ready for the New Year season. Ideal New Year barrages are the Mystical Monsoon, Brazilian Bombshell and Quantum Power. In the rocket section we have the Awesome Big Brother and Resurrection Rockets. These are as big as they come and, at the Fireworkguy with our 1.3g high hazard storage you're only paying for the rocket, they're not in the pyromesh packaging which costs so much. And of course, we have all the excellent favorites you keep coming back for. Remember, we moved just to the back of "Hot and Tasty", the premises where we have been for years. This year we have extended our car park, so just drive inbetween Cundy Cross Cars and Carters Hair Salon off Grange Lane, Cundy Cross and enter directly into our private car park.
Glow in the Dark Wristbands
These are proving to be the latest craze, and not just with the kids! Its this years must have accessory. There's one free with each order, or you can buy them for £2 each with 100% of the £2 going to Macmillan Cancer Support who are celebrating their centenary.
Have you seen Rodney Rocket?
'Our mascot "RODNEY ROCKET" has now had a tow bar fitted and some of you will have seen him throughout the year pulling his little trailer. Thank you to those who've seen Rodney on his travels, the pips and waves make his day.
1.3g High Hazard Fireworks
Stocking 1.3g class "high hazard" product has certainly given us advantage over our competition, who often stock large ranges of watered down 1.4g basic fireworks. The investment to our storage facilities both on and off site has proved invaluable. Once again, our 2011 rocket stocks are second to none. At the FireworkGuy, you are paying for the rocket not the packaging. This is why we attend industry events and displays throughout the rest of the year, to achieve the best range of great performing pyrotechnics for you.
BOGOF Offers
As a specialist outlet, we source products where the price reflects performance related value for money. If you don't want to be looking enviously over the fence, then a visit to the FireworkGuy is a must.
As Seen on the BBC...

Thank you to the Barnsley Chronicle and BBC Radio Sheffield, Toby Foster Breakfast Show, who both ran pieces about THE new firework, "Long John". This has been named after our very own Firework Guy, John. Royal Party Fireworks, a Swedish brand, named the firework in honor of John for his outstanding work with the firework company in 2008 and 2009. Long John is almost 4ft and is probably the tallest firework on sale. It fires 95 large shots in under a minute, in a left to right 'machine gun style'. Call in and have a look at the firework for yourself! It's on display at our Cundy Cross store or visit the Barnsley Chronicle or the BBC websites.
